MILLBURY – Ethel L. (Moses) Goodell, 99, a long time resident of Millbury, died Friday, Aug. 27th in the Millbury Health Care Center in Millbury.
Her husband, Shirley C. Goodell died in 1980. She leaves a daughter, Brenda R. Pozzi and her husband, Richard of Millbury; a son, Wayne S. Goodell of Anderson CA; ten grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She was born Sanbornton, NH and is predeceased by her parents, Harry and Zilla (Heath) Moses and a daughter, Roberta E. Stimpson, who died in 1987. She graduated from Franklin High School in NH in 1929.
Ethel did office work for many years and enjoyed traveling to see our beautiful country. She had been a member of the Millbury Baptist Church for 58 years.
Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1st in the Millbury Baptist Church, 17 Main St., on the common in Millbury. Calling hours are 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the church prior, to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Millbury Baptist Church, 17 Main St., P.O. Box 222, Millbury, MA 01527. Mulhane Home for Funerals in Millbury is assisting the family with the arrangements.
