MILLBURY – Irene H. (Bonczek) Morris, 77, died peacefully Wednesday, July 1st in her home surrounded by her loving family.
She leaves her husband, Alexander W. Morris; a daughter, Cathy Rose Suffill and her husband Ronald of Ware; two sons, Alexander W. Morris, Jr. of Miramar, FL and James A. Morris and his wife Ann Marie of Auburn; a granddaughter, Alexandria Morris and two great grandsons, Robert and Ryan; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Irene was born in Worcester and is predeceased by her parents, Teofil and Catherine (Smigel) Bonczek; a sister, Ann Andersen and two brothers, Frank and Sigmond Bonczek.
Irene was a CCD teacher at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Worcester. She was a volunteer at the Millbury Senior Center and member of the Friends of the Millbury Seniors.
Irene's funeral will be held Monday, July 6th from the Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1290 Grafton St., Worcester. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are Sunday, July 5th from 3 to 6 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1290 Grafton St., Worcester, 01604 or to the Friends of the Millbury Seniors, 1 River St., Millbury MA, 01527.
